Abstract

Patients who are recovering from myocardial infarction (MI) have the potential to considerably improve their quality of life (QoL) through the usage of cardiac rehabilitation physiotherapy. Through the integration of fitness training, patient education, and psychological support, the objective of this structured program is to promote the restoration of physical function, the maintenance of heart health, and the prevention of future occurrences. There is a high likelihood that patients who have experienced a myocardial infarction may experience physical deconditioning, emotional distress, and difficulties in their lifestyle, all of which have the potential to hinder the entire process of recovery. a multimodal approach to cardiac rehabilitation that lays an emphasis on the role that individualized physiotherapy therapies play in strengthening physical endurance, lowering the risk factors for cardiovascular disease, and addressing mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression. Based on research that is supported by evidence, it has been demonstrated that physiotherapy is beneficial in terms of improving cardiac efficiency, reducing the number of times patients need to be readmitted to the hospital, and enhancing the overall well-being of patients. There are a number of significant outcomes that show the necessity of including physiotherapy into the standard protocols for cardiac rehabilitation. These outcomes include greater exercise tolerance, superior disease control, and enhanced mental resilience. By addressing both the physical and psychosocial aspects of the illness, physiotherapy for cardiac rehabilitation provides a holistic approach to restoring health and quality of life for those who have suffered a myocardial infarction (MI). This is accomplished by treating both the components of the condition.
