Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aimed to examine the relationship between leadership behaviors and the dimensions of job burnout (emotional exhaustion, work disengagement, and personal accomplishment) among a sample of employees of the Mascara Electricity and Gas Distribution Directorate. The study adopted a descriptive-correlational approach and administered the Mayo Clinic Leadership Qualities Scale and the Maslach Burnout Inventory to a sample of 111 employees. The data were analyzed using Spearman’s correlation coefficient through SPSS (Version 27). The results showed a statistically significant inverse relationship between leadership behaviors and both emotional exhaustion and work disengagement, whereas no statistically significant relationship was established between leadership behaviors and personal accomplishment.
