Renewable and Exhaustible Energies as Factors of Growth and Economic Development from the Perspective of Neoclassical Theory
Main Article Content
Abstract
Energy is considered a fundamental factor of production, as the production process becomes impossible without it. It has been first addressed by neoclassical economists, and it is divided into renewable and exhaustible energy sources. Its impact differs in both cases, as its former type has a positive effect on economic growth and development, while the latter type has a negative impact on them.
