Abstract

This study examines and analyses the social dimension of communication culture within the institution, considering it a central mechanism for disseminating and reinforcing social and organisational values such as professional commitment, professional conscience, discipline, cooperation, and teamwork among institutional actors. These actors include the administration, with its various branches and structural divisions; employees, organised according to the established functional hierarchy; and the different work teams within the institution. The study adopts a socio-communicative approach, which involves linking social dimensions, such as relationships, roles, and interactions, with communicative dimensions, including both formal and informal communication channels. This approach seeks to understand how everyday communication is constructed within the institution and to examine its role in shaping behaviours and fostering shared values among institutional actors. Therefore, the culture of social communication should not be understood merely as a mode of communication or as a framework for the exchange of information. Rather, it constitutes a fundamental mechanism for promoting social cohesion, organisational harmony, and institutional performance across all components of the institution.
