Abstract

The Big Data Strategy underpins the policy of economic development and transformation, emphasising a technical approach to social governance reform. Furthermore, it presents both opportunities and challenges for the government in managing public opinion online. As a result of the swift advancement of mobile internet technology, Chinese individuals have transitioned to utilising the Internet for information acquisition and engagement in social activities. Concurrently, network public sentiment has emerged as a crucial element of public opinion. This essay examines the practical challenges of managing network public sentiment within the framework of big data, informed by the definition of network public sentiment and its influence on governmental governance. The report suggests methods to enhance the state regulation of massive data concerning network public sentiment. The suggested strategies can enhance the safeguarding of cultural heritage.
